style="text-align:justify;text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">杰克刚刚聆听了国家主席习近平的视频致辞，他用一口流利的普通话对记者说：“习近平主席的致辞中，‘文明互鉴’这四个字让我感触很深。”</span></p><p style="text-indent: style="color:#595959;">这位出生于美国伊利诺伊州的33岁小伙，如今是武当“三丰派”第十六代武术传人，在武当山一家武馆开展双语教学。当年，他通过互联网接触中国、了解中国，并来到中国学习武术。</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">为了展示自己的学习成果，他当场打了一套武当太极拳，一招一式如行云流水。受李小龙、成龙电影的影响，杰克少年时期就迷上了中国功夫。2010年，他大学毕业，在YouTube上看到了武当“三丰派”第十五代武术传人袁修刚的视频后，被深深折服。他通过电子邮件联系上了袁修刚，之后辗转来到中国拜师学艺，下了多年苦功，成为袁修刚弟子中的佼佼者。</span></p><section style="color:#595959;">杰克也是整个家族中唯一来中国的人，之前对中国充满了好奇，利用半年时间通过各种网站了解中国。“互联网是一个神奇的工具，它将世界各地的人们联系在一起，只需点击几下鼠标，就可以了解另一个世界、另一种文化、另一种生活方式，了解彼此的文明。”</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: style="color:#595959;">几年前，杰克开始负责管理武馆的外文网站，宣传武当功夫的精髓和文化。后来他又玩起了抖音、快手、B站、小红书，以“武当杰克”的身份宣传中国传统文化，分享自己日常生活和练功视频，还录制了太极拳全套动作的解析视频，撰写了英文教程，免费发在网上，收获了国内外大量粉丝。</span></p><section style="line-height: style="color:#595959;">在武当山的日子，杰克每天清晨起床练功，上午在玉虚宫指导学员练太极拳，下午教形意拳、八仙棍，晚上打坐、吹洞箫，再上两个小时网课，教海外学员武当功夫和中国传统文化。偶有闲暇，他会在山上晨观日出、暮阅云海。</span></p></section><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent: style="color:#595959;">今年是杰克首次受邀参加世界互联网大会。“在视频致辞中，习近平主席倡导文明互鉴，加强网上交流对话，促进各国人民相知相亲，推动不同文明包容共生，更好弘扬全人类共同价值。”对此，杰克深表赞同，“不管什么国家的人，都希望有舒适的环境、幸福美满的家庭、健康的身体，都希望网络空间更加和平安全，未来更加美好。”</span></p><section style="color:#595959;">杰克因为中国功夫来到中国，也通过中国功夫了解中国传统文化。来中国之前，他觉得中国功夫只是一种搏击技能，深入接触之后才发现，中国武术博大精深，有一套完整的锻炼系统，包含哲学思想、文化内涵、中医养身等很多内容，讲究内外兼修、刚柔并济，可以让生命更和谐。</span></p></section><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">“师父常常对我说，中国武术不是为了对抗，胜过别人。练武不是要跟别人比，而是和自己比，和自己的过去比，我接触的很多中国传统文化都有这种反求诸己的特性。”杰克说。</span></p><section style="color:#595959;">除了武术，杰克还对茶道、洞箫、古琴、书法等产生了浓厚兴趣，并潜心研究《道德经》。</span></p></section><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">最初，《道德经》原文对他而言过于艰涩，于是他阅读了多个英文版本。近两年，他的中文水平日益提高，开始通过注释阅读原文。</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">“道可道、非常道，‘道’究竟是什么？”杰克说，“在英文版中，对‘道’的翻译各有不同，每个人对于‘道’的理解都不一样。我觉得‘道’是什么其实不重要，我心中的道和你心中的道不一样，这没有关系，我们可以一起交流。”</span></p><section style="line-height: 1.75em;"></section><section><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">2014年，杰克娶了一位陕西姑娘为妻，还有了一个可爱的女儿。由于文化差异，小两口有过一些小摩擦。“比方说家里来了客人，我在一边扫地，客人走后就被妻子数落了一通，说这叫‘扫地出门’，就是赶客人走的意思。”</span></p></section><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">渐渐地，杰克开始了解中国传统礼仪，“别人给你倒茶，你可以用两根手指在桌上轻轻敲两下，表示感谢；过年给长辈送红包，要用双手递过去；一桌人吃饭，人没到齐不能先动筷子……”</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2.068em;line-height: 2em;"><span style="color:#595959;">杰克说中国话、吃中国菜、穿中国传统服装、娶中国妻子，“很多人都说我已经是个中国人了，其实我还是一个美国人，只是我喜欢中国的文化，在中国找到了一个更好的自己。”</span></p><section style="line-height: style="color:#595959;">如今，杰克和妻子在消费、育儿等方面仍存在不少分歧，但不妨碍他们的感情。“中西方文化也有很多共通之处。小时候，爷爷常常对我说一句话：agreeto disagree，翻译成中文，是指接受分歧的存在，同意各自保留不同意见，也就是中国古人说的求同存异、和而不同。”</span></p></section><section style="color:#595959;">“源远流长的中国传统文化深深打动了我，我觉得有责任向全世界传播。”目前，有数千名海外学员在网上跟杰克学习武当功夫和中国传统文化，遍布美国、加拿大、西班牙、巴西、韩国等50多个国家。在他的持续影响下，不少网络学员从线上转为线下，跟他当年一样来到武当山拜师学艺，目前他就有两位学员来自比利时。</span></p></section><p
